I am of Cameroonian origin, currently residing in Finland. I have four awesome kids and a great husband. When I and the children moved to Finland to meet their dad about eight years ago, we envisioned a perfect family reunion. Spending time together and going on trips even within Europe together. After a few years, my children told me ‘Mama we hardly see daddy and we don’t get to do things with him’. My husband’s reply was that he had bills to pay, so he needs to work long hours. I should have been there for my children, but I am working in the early childhood field which can be emotionally and physically draining. I go home very tired form work. We also have a son with autism spectrum disorder. So going back home I have another full-time job, and I find myself tossing in bed because of exhaustion and the guilty feeling that I did not spend quality time with my other children. Now I realize no matter how hard we work, we are physically drained, and our finances are still struggling. I very intentionally make the choice to change our lives. I believe God who made us to work the earth and took a whole day to rest, also wants us to have fun, enjoy time with our families and help others out of cycles of depression. Hence why I choose this business model to make as many mothers as possible business owners, so that they can have control over their lives and find financial peace.
